You Can't Front On That - Beastie Boys

When we first started SA, it was with the primary purpose to call bullshit on what we perceived as such, and to call out the chumps that we also perceived as such. Mission accomplished. Sure, we had some "real" info as well, but it became clear to me that while we were on to something, for SA to become bigger and better, we'd need to really add some good content, and I think we've succeeded there as well.

But just yesterday I received two e-mails, stating very different opinions about what we've become. One was titled "See Ya" and it basically said we'd sold out and now we're no different than anyone else. The other said how impressed they were with the content and thought that we had done an exceptional job with the site.

This is where you come in (jesus, that's scary). Look, without you readers, there is no reason to even bother. There have been a lot of you who have followed this site from its earliest days right up to today. I know the site has changed, and I think that while in my opinion, it has gotten much better; I also know that it has lost some of its edge. There's less vitriol, and more substance. Less controversy and more information.

The questions are this: Do you like what we are today? What don't you like about us? What would you like to see more of? Does the advertising bother you? What is our biggest strength? What is our biggest weakness? Those sorts of things. Of course it doesn't mean that I'm actually going to listen to any of you.

I've said that this site is really for you. Granted, most of the ideas are mine, but it just so happens that a lot of you think like I do, but I'm absolutely sure that we could do a better job. Take a minute, go to the forum and let me know how SA can, if not rule, at least suck less.
