You heard it here first that Paul Cayard will replace Dee Smith aboard Grant Dalton's Amer Sports One in the Volvo Around the World Race. Well now there's more. We intercepted the conversation between Grant Dalton and Cayard in which they negotiated the deal. Here is, in part, the transcript of the conversation.

Dalton: What are you doing?
Cayard: Polishing my Paul Cayard Edition Ferrari.

Dalton: Want to step aboard and help our floundering mess?
Cyard: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

Dalton: C'mon mate, we're fuckin' desperate.
Cayard: Should have asked me from the get go.

Dalton: We did! Who the hell could pay $1 million per leg?
Cayard: Looks like a bargain, now, eh mate?

Cayard: A million. Per Leg. And a new Swan 80.

Dalton: Jesus! Are you serious?.... I think we can do it.
