Chopped and Lowered These used to be J-24's, but after Gavin Brady and his boys finished, they ain't no more. The boats are Gavin's/George Collins (Chessie Racing) match racing beaters that the boys use for practice. The story goes they wanted to have a couple of easier to sail, down and dirty match racers for Oracle/BMW practice, so they carved up these 24's, put a new cockpit, sealed up the main hatch (nobody needs to go below), painted 'em Oracle black, and here ya go! 10/22/2003 |
