Flipped Off
An E-scow gets knocked off its trailer at Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston Sunday afternoon, just feet from where the Sailing Anarchy/Ocean Sailing Academy fiesta tore through Salty Mike's bar the night before.
Clean was writing the press releases for the event, which you can check out here along with pics from Tim Wilkes and results scored on anarchist L_Z's scoring site.

You can see what happened, or go and relive it (or correct it) in the On The Water Anarchy forum, where Clean was doing live reports from CRW - with their expenses covered by OSA and by Leonhardt Vineyards. These reports cost relatively little to make happen, but they still cost something, and there are folks that go far out of their way to help us bring you fun and new stuff. So if you like the reporting, check out what they have to offer. OSA has been teaching sailing on Charleston Harbor for over ten years, and they've got everything from cruising boats to Melges 24's to teach classes on, as well as a few boats to charter. Leonhardt is a small vineyard in Sonoma owned by sailors who love making wine. Rick Hall spent more than 20 hours and tore through a scary amount of gas and diesel driving around Clean, Mer, and a bunch of other media types all weekend. Yes, he's a Sea Ray/Whaler dealer and a sponsor of the event, but he didn't need to spend his entire weekend driving the boats. He did it partially for the pimping, but more because he thought it would be good for the event and for the Spirit of South Carolina. Hall drove Clean, Mer and a bunch of other media types around in a pimped out 44-foot Sea Ray on Saturday (after Clean bitched on Friday that the Whaler 27 wasn't good enough) while they took pics of the racing, and we heard from one of the racers that he'd duct-taped a big Anarchy flag to the fiberglass VHF antenna of the powerboat.

We'll have a word from Clean in Charleston tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on how long it takes for him to recover. Thanks to SA'er ease hike trim for the pic.
