Wake Up

Yesterday evening we were close to 100 anarchist watching the Leg 4 VOR final live in the forum "Hot Hot, This is gonna be a tight finish" Eye witness reports, webcam photos, AA-site press releases and other updates as well as private pics. It was just like being present on the dockside in Welllington! More than 9000 views is quite impressive for a topic started 24 hours ago.

Thanks to SA for providing this excellent site and to the anarchists for being at the right time at the right place. Would the VOR organisation just learn a little from the SA spirit and start to provide some information in due time and worth reading? They could start by figuring out the difference between tides and currents, tacks and gybes and other nonsense from their "live coverage updates". Then they could think about updating the fine software Virtual Spectator more often - at least during starts and finish. Who wants to watch matchrace with updates every third hour??? How often will you have finishes like the one yesterday?

Finally they could consider publishing pics and films online while the race goes on and not when everyone has left. Can't VOR organisation understand the potential of +9000 views seeking for VOR news and updates or have they never heard about discrete publicity banners?

Wake up VOR for Gods sake!!!
